Hi, my name is Stephen. I’m committed about making sure the care system is the best it can possibly be, which is why my role as The Active Involvement Youth Ambassador a perfect fit. It allows me to draw on my own lived experience of being in care and work alongside our corporate parents to help drive meaningful, positive change.
I also support this by working with LinCC and by taking part in various projects with the Active Involvement Team. My ambition is for every young person to be equipped with the tools and support they need to thrive as well as feeling represented & listened to because when young people are given a voice, they don’t just shape their own future – they reshape the world around them.
